my new way of studying

Over an extended period, I was never really able to get up early, motivated, and ready to get out of bed. Never all three at once; it was one or two at most.
I wasn't consistent with my diet or my gym attendance. Even when I tried to learn something new, I could not concentrate because I had been binge-watching videos, movies, and series.
I think that by “learning” the bare minimum and perhaps being very lucky, I was able to sort of get by in life.
But following my huge life change, I realized I was capable of much more and only needed to discover something worthwhile to fight for.
So, when I started college not so long ago, I looked up the best study techniques, how to study medicine, and healthy daily routines—yes, I actually looked such things up on Google.
A variety of posts showed up, and multiple useful websites, such as Kenhub, which I now use to study medicine daily, came up.
Because I had watched so many videos explaining the diverse approaches held by those who claimed themselves as experts, I eventually came to view myself as one of them.
But, in all seriousness, after devoting a significant amount of time and effort to this research project, I came to the conclusion that there are some things that make sense and are worth attempting:
spaced repetition
active recall
And to give you a little bit of a spoiler, this really does work!
Even though we are all unique in our own ways, at a minimum, it worked for me, and it seems to work for many people.
I'm not saying that I no longer put things off or procrastinate, but the techniques I've learned have made it easier to get things done more quickly, allowing me to free up more time in my schedule.
And isn't that one of the essential elements to take away from the journey of self-improvement?
Being able to delegate the appropriate amount of time to each task that needs to be completed while still having sufficient time to spend on other things without feeling awful on a daily basis.
But that's not all; with this new approach to studying and the ability to comprehend numerous different things, there are even more elements in life that have the potential to be developed.
A quick disclaimer:
After implementing all of these changes to your life, you might find that people mistake you for being retired!
But that's all for now because I have to get back to my work; however, rest assured that I'll be discussing this topic again very soon!
